BIOGRAPHY
Keri's school report, aged 11, contained a note to his parents that read, "Keri has announced that he wants to write scripts and make films, please advise him to consider a more realistic career path". That advice appears to have been ignored.
Keri has worked as Writer/Director on a series of successful short films; 'Die Zwoelfte Stunde' received two broadcasts on Sky TV and is streamed on the BBC Film Network website, "showcasing new British filmmaking talent". 'A Day Out With Gwyn' featuring Frank Kelly from Channel 4 's, 'Father Ted', won 'Best Screenplay' at the 2005 'Finest Films student film festival'.
He attended the International Film School, Wales from 2002-2005, studying under Cannes' Prix Art et Essai winning Director Florence Ayisi (Sisters in Law), achieving a BA (Hons) in Film and Video.
In 2004 Keri was selected to direct a 92 second poetic short as part of Peter Greenaway's 'Tulse Luper Suitcases' film/art project.
Last year Keri had three screenplays ('Heaven: The Passion of Chris' 'Who Cares?' and 'The Comedie of Errors'), optioned by Urban Way Productions, a London based independent production company founded by actor/producer Ray Panthaki (Ali G In Da House/28 Days Later/Kidulthood). 'Heaven: The Passion of Chris' has currently secured $20m finance (50% of the budget).
Earlier this year he travelled to Angola, West Africa after he was commissioned to direct a documentary about the Miss Landmine beauty pageant for landmine victims.
Keri is also featured on Channel 4's 4Talent website 'The Directory', "The 4Talent Film Directory. Handpicked practitioners from in front and behind the camera".
Keri is available for commissions and is currently seeking representation.
