Nicholas is currently on the UK Film Council's Feature Development Programme. He is developing his screenplay GURK THE SLAYER!
He came second in Final Draft’s 2007 Big Break screenwriting contest with his screenplay KNIGHT KNIGHT, winning him a trip to LA to receive an award and meet with industry professionals (including a very brief chat with Oliver Stone). The contest judges included the writers of such films as STAND BY ME, STARMAN, MR & MRS SMITH, XMEN 3, JUMPER, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and ANTWONE FISHER.
An article about his win featured in the January/February 2007 issue of Script magazine and an article about KNIGHT KNIGHT featured in the March/April issue.
THE MINDBENDER, the script that won him a place on the Guiding Lights scheme, recently won the gold prize in the Page International Awards screenwriting contest.
Nicholas is currently having his short script THAT THING YOU DREW produced, with filming due to start in July. The film is about a little deaf girl who gets into trouble for innocently copying a "thingy" she finds drawn on the front door of her home.
Nicholas has also written a sitcom, a stage play, a radio play, several short screenplays and a children’s story called ERAZMAS AND BEEP-BEEP.
Nicholas is currently seeking representation and scriptwriting, script reading or related work.
