REBECCA JOHNSON
Rebecca Johnson is an award-winning BBC-trained writer/director making drama and documentary under the banner of not-for-profit company Fierce Productions. This year, Rebecca has completed TOP GIRL, a coming of age drama and HOME TURF, a fly-on-the-wall documentary about the Brixton estate where TOP GIRL was shot. Rebecca is now working with young people from the estate to develop her first feature, a girl’s gangland story. Rebecca’s previous films include THAT SINKING FEELING, nominated for a Kodak Award and winner of Best Story prize at Reus Film Festival and FAST BREAK, which scooped a First Light Best Drama award.
