Rupert wrote his first ever project, a feature script called THE ROUND in 2001 after dreaming a story about a lovesick milkman. After some encouraging feedback he teamed up with a very talented director to work on a psychological thriller, BLACK SHEEP. This project has attracted strong industry interest but without a deal on the table, they aim to produce the film independently. In the meantime, Rupert has turned his hand to shorts, resulting in BACKROADS being produced in Feb ’08. Rupert is currently developing a number of shorts with a linked theme in addition to a feature exploring teenage bullying, a one-off TV Drama, and a slow burning thriller set in the Australian Outback.
